Classes meet during the Sunday Morning Worship Service. The classrooms are located behind the sanctuary - just beyond the large sliding door.

Children leave just before the sermon and then return for the final songs. The classes last about a half-hour. This allows the children to participate in the worship serivce and receive age-specific encouragement.

During the Worship, the children and their caregivers are are invited forward for the “Young Person’s Sermon,” which is a short message designed for younger audiences. Follow that, the church sings a “Young Person’s Song,” which is a cheerful congregational song that is often led by children in the church’s Music School.

Children are welcome to stay in the sanctuary through the complete worship service. The church recognizes that children can make noise, but we also realize such noises are the sound of our future

The Children’s Class functions as a caregiver cooperative. Using ready-to-go materials, the adults organize and lead the class. No preparation is required.

A caregiver stays with their child.

After the children’s lesson, caregivers listen to the sermon together.

The children’s class provide a place for children to learn about God and for caregivers to connect with one another.

The class follows The Jesus Storybook Bible. The text relays the bibical stories using children-friendly language and art.
